| 9'6'' or 10' | Refers to floor area of the tent (space from the edge of the trailer to the furthermost wall). |
| 15oz | True 15oz proofed WCT canvas, 508gsm. Australian made: proofed, packed, shipped, and Australian owned. |
| Aggragate Trailer Mass (ATM) | The total mass of the trailer when carrying the maximum load recommended by the manufacturer. This will include any mass imposed onto the towing vehicle. |
| Amps | Battery capacity is usually expressed in Amp hours (Ah), at the 20-hour rate. |
| Annexe | An annexe is canvas roof and walls that is attached to the main camper trailer tent. |
| Awning | An awning is a canvas roof that is attached to the main camper trailer tent. |
| Bike sleeve | A recovery point and a hitch slot that enables a bike carrier to be mounted at the back of the trailer. |
| Ball coupling | A ball coupling forms the connection between towing vehicle and trailer. |
| Camper trailer | A trailer equipped for occupancy (especially for holiday trips). |
| Canvas | The simplest weave in textiles is a plain weave (1x1) where the filling yarn is passed over and under individual warp yarns. Using thick yarns, makes the fabric into a canvas. |

| Corner walls | Partial walls to suit an awning - the back wall, and part of long wall (forming a corner), usually used as protection for the kitchen/tailgate area. |
| Draft skirt | Usually made of PVC or canvas and stops the draft that comes from underneath the trailer. |
| Draw bar | A device for coupling a hauling vehicle to a load. |
| Drum brakes | A brake in which the friction is caused by a set of shoes or pads that press against a rotating drum-shaped part called a brake drum. |
| Dual Cab | Dual Cabs are an extended cab body style commonly found on utes or pickup trucks. This cab design typically has forward-facing rear seating and four front-hinged doors to provide sedan-like accommodations for up to 6 passengers. |

| Flat tray | The tray bed is a simple flat surface mounted above the wheels. Rear indicators and brake lights are usually mounted hanging underneath the tray or on a bracket from the rear-most part of the chassis. |
| Framed dust cover | A lightweight frame and Ripstop PVC cover, fully dust proof, used as a protective cover for storage and travel, and as a quick and easy to erect awning. |
| Gross Combination Mass (GCM) | In relation to a motor vehicle (towing vehicle), this is the maximum loaded mass of the motor vehicle and of any vehicles or trailers being towed by that motor vehicle. |
| Gross Trailer Mass (GTM) | This is the maximum loaded mass transmitted to the ground by the axle, or axles, of the trailer when coupled to a towing vehicle. Except for semi-trailers, the difference between the ATM and GTM is usually small. |
| Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) | This is the maximum loaded mass of a motor vehicle. |
| Inverter | A device that converts direct current to alternating current. |
| Leaf spring | Commonly used for the suspension in wheeled vehicles and takes the form of a slender arc-shaped length of spring steel of rectangular cross-section. |

| Marine Ply | Marine ply is frequently used in the construction of docks and boats and is much more expensive than standard plywood. Marine ply is resistant to warping and rotting. |
| On Road trailer | Suited for sealed roads. |
| Off Road trailer | Suited for full on 4 wheel driving. |
| Ounces (Oz) | A measurement of fabric weight. |

| Slide-on camper | The slide-on camper is a stand alone camper that is manufactured to be temporarily mounted on either a style side or flat tray utility in both 2WD and 4WD forms. |
| Starter package | A package designed for Camper enthusiasts who want a Cameron but not necessarily a lot of the bells and whistles. A great place to start - add options if you wish to get the perfect package to suit your requirements. |
| Stone guard | Used to help prevent vehicle stone chips and damage to windows while travelling. |
| Style side | The tray bed is enclosed on the sides with body panels, usually made from pressed steel. A hinged rear tailgate is almost universal. |
| Tailgate (drop down) | A gate at the rear of the camper trailer which can be lowered for access to the kitchen box or for loading. |
| Treg hitch coupling | The ‘Treg' hitch has a polyurethane block which has some shock absorbing properties and stops noise and vibration from the trailer to the vehicle. |
| Unlimited On Road trailer (previously Heavy Duty On Road trailer) | Suited for sealed and unsealed roads. |
| Unlimited Off Road trailer (previously Heavy Duty Off Road trailer) | Suited for heavy loads and extreme terrain. |
| Vertical spare wheel mount | The vertical spare wheel mount mounts one spare wheel vertically to the front of the camper trailer. |
