I am writing to say what a pleasure it has been purchasing my new Cameron Camper trailer from Cameron Canvas. I have now used the camper on serval occasions and it has lived up to my very high expectations in all respects.
I am a retired long distance truck driver and have observed many different brands of camper trailers, including Cameron Campers, over many years both the on the road and set up for camping. Also because of my experience with transport equipment over all sorts of road conditions, I am able to make a sound assessment of the quality of the equipment and its suitability for the purpose for which it was designed. Over the years, Cameron Canvas has always stood out as the premium camper trailer. When observed on the road, they were always sitting squarely and towed without bounce or sway no matter what road conditions or the vehicle towing it. I have never seen a Cameron trailer with a structural failure or rolled over which is more than I can say for some other trailer makes. When set up for camping, I could always pick out a Cameron camper by the way the walls stood straight and square and by the generous height over the bed area.
It was these long term observations that made the Cameron Camper my natural choice when I was ready to buy my camper. I looked at other brands but these inspections only served to confirm my long-term observation.
After having used the trailer, I find it very easy and quick to erect, 100% waterproof, very comfortable and convenient with a wealth of carefully thought out features that reflect your long experience in trailer and camper manufacture.
The 15-ounce canvas is very successful in keeping unwanted light out of the camper in the early morning. It is a pleasure to tow being very stable, smooth and light to tow. I find that the camper has a negligible effect on my fuel consumption.
My dealings with Cameron Canvas has been a very pleasant experience and have contributed significantly to my pleasure in owing a Cameron. All the staff at Cameron Canvas was a pleasure to deal with. They were always knowledgeable, courteous, willing and professional. There was no pressure from the sales staff to make a quick decision. The sales people were confident enough in their own product to point out its features and to let the camper stand on its own merit against the opposition and to let me draw the inevitable conclusion in my own time.
